Terms of Use

Version 1.1 of 21 September 2026. This is a translation for convenience; the Russian version is the legally binding one.

1. General

1.1. These Terms govern the use of the website Satin Moon at taroastrology.ru (the “Site”). The owner and administrator of the Site is Alexander Ustinov, contact e-mail: alustinov@mail.ru (the “Administration”).

1.2. These Terms are a public offer under art. 437(2) of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. By starting to use the Site you accept them in full (art. 438(3)). If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.

1.3. The Site is provided free of charge, without registration and without any paid-services contract.

2. The Site is for entertainment

Everything on the Site is for entertainment and artistic enjoyment only.

2.1. Tarot readings, the card of the day, horoscopes, sign compatibility, the destiny matrix, the natal chart, the answers of the Wishing Orb and all interpretations (the “Content”) are produced automatically: cards are drawn at random and the texts are assembled from pre-written templates.

2.2. The Content:

is not a prediction of the future or reliable information about a person or an event, and is not based on scientifically proven methods;
is not medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, legal, financial, investment or any other professional advice, and is no substitute for it;
is not the provision of esoteric, magical or healing services — the Administration does not provide such services;
promises no result and should not be treated as instructions for action.

2.3. Astronomical calculations (planetary positions, ascendant, houses) use approximate formulas and may contain a margin of error; astrological and numerological interpretations are conventional.

3. Disclaimer

3.1. The Site and its Content are provided “as is”. The Administration does not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, fitness for your expectations, or uninterrupted operation of the Site.

3.2. Any decision you make with the Content in mind is yours alone, taken at your own risk and responsibility. The Administration is not liable for the consequences of such decisions, for direct or indirect losses, lost profit or moral harm, or for the loss of data stored in your browser — to the extent permitted by the law of the Russian Federation.

3.3. For questions of health, relationships, money and law please consult qualified professionals. If you are in a difficult situation or in danger, call your local emergency number (112 in Russia and across the EU).

4. Age restriction

4.1. The Site is intended for people aged 16 and over. Anyone younger may use it only with the permission and under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

5. Your data

5.1. The Site requires no registration. What you enter (name, date, time and place of birth, questions, saved readings, matrices and charts) is stored in your browser only and is never sent to the Administration.

5.2. Visit statistics are collected by Yandex Metrica only with your separate consent to the processing of personal data, which you can withdraw at any time via the “Cookie settings” button. Declining does not limit your use of the Site. See the Privacy and Cookie Policy for details.

5.3. You are responsible for the data you enter, including data about other people (for example a partner's date of birth for the compatibility check), and you should enter it only with their consent or in anonymised form.

6. Intellectual property

6.1. The design of the Site, the interpretation texts and the source code belong to the Administration. Commercial use without written permission is not allowed; quoting with attribution is fine.

6.2. The card illustrations were created with the FLUX.2 [klein] 4B neural network (Apache 2.0 licence) after traditional tarot imagery that is in the public domain. The fonts Cormorant Garamond and Marck Script are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

7. Final provisions

7.1. The Administration may amend these Terms; a new version takes effect once published on the Site. The version date is shown at the top of this document.

7.2. These Terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation. The parties will try to settle disputes through negotiation; claims should be sent to the e-mail address in clause 1.1. Any remaining disputes are resolved as provided by Russian law.

7.3. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to consumers by applicable law.

7.4. In case of any discrepancy between this translation and the Russian original, the Russian text prevails.
